This primate skull surrounded by stone ornaments has just been unearthed. The game (the ability to determine the rules and respect them) and the ornament (the ability to voluntarily change its appearance) are concepts unique to humankind, according to the German theory Schmuck und Spiel. This sculpture sows trouble, somewhat like faked archaeological evidence. It asks what is unique to Humankind, and echoes current ethnological research.
