The VivariHomme performance has fun questioning the artificiality of the process of “returning to nature”. Halfway between breeding wood-men and the experience of the reality of the forest, VivariHomme alternately recalls the universal expositions and freak shows, playing on the disorder between what is real and what is staged. Based on work by the plastic-without-plastic artist Mickaël Valet, who created pieces by living them, and by immersing himself in nearly complete nature, VivariHomme deals with a man who has returned to a natural state in the forest.
