Claude Boudeau considers performance an ordeal. A sort of initiatory challenge in which we can neither play nor lie. Often risqué, occasionally discreet, this young artist’s work nurtures an insider relationship with nature which would not have been scorned by the young Helots or adolescent Zulus.
