Here the forest is the protagonist in an inner journey. It becomes the place of refuge for all the stateless, the “home sweet home” of the stray being that slumbers within us. Through the search for a certain animalism in writing and in the voice, and an inner developmental journey in the narrative, the forest becomes inhabited… and inhabits us.
